The illustrations also make the child look very excited, like it's a very positive thing to learn to use the potty. I started without this book with my daughter and it's been really hard.
She loves it and since yesterday has spent hours looking at the pictures. I remembered this book yesterday and bought the girl version for her.
I love this book. I used the boy version of the book with my son and he was potty trained very easily.
I have a feeling potty training is going to be easier now. The rhymes are great and they keep the whole topic light and upbeat.
You couldn't ask for a better book for potty training.
I missed the child's birthday due to late arrival. The Potty Book - For Girls Terrible. The book to way too long to arrive.
Great book that did exactly what it was supposed to do. We also continued to read it after potty training was underway. She likes for me to read it to her while she sits on the potty. I bought this book to prep my daughter for potty training. I recommend it. We read it for about a month before the big day. get her comfortable with the idea. She loves this book.
I do recommend this book, it isn't going to magically make your child learn to use the potty, but reading it frequently to your kid will help him/her remember what to do when they feel the need to go potty. Like other potty books, this book begins by introducing the main character and then going into the potty steps in a friendly, easy to understand way for kids.
My daughter has been potty trained for about 6 months now and she still loves to have this book read to her. Even though it did not outline the method of potty training that we used, I realize that is not the purpose of this book. I didn't hurt that my daughter's name is Hannah, the same as the little girl in the book. My daughter received this book as a gift before we were even thinking about potty training. The best part about this book is two-fold; it is a cute little story and it was a nice way to get the idea of potty training in my daughter's head.
